FAQ

Questions Nurses Ask Us

How do I start a mobile IV hydration business in Florida?

Getting started with IV Nurse Network (IVNN) is simple! Complete the membership inquiry form below, and our team will contact you to discuss your business goals, eligibility requirements, membership benefits, and next steps. We'll guide you through the application, credentialing, and onboarding process so you can access the clinical support services available through IVNN. Ready to take the next step toward business ownership? Submit your inquiry below and let's get started!

Can a RN start their own IV hydration business in Florida?

Yes! Registered Nurses (RNs) in Florida can establish their own mobile IV hydration businesses, provided they meet applicable business, licensing, and healthcare regulatory requirements. While RNs can own a business, IV hydration treatments must be administered within their authorized scope of practice and under appropriate orders from a licensed prescribing provider. An RN license alone does not authorize independent medical diagnosis, prescribing, or treatment decisions. IV Nurse Network (IVNN) helps entrepreneurial nurses build independently branded mobile IV hydration businesses by providing access to established clinical protocols, medical oversight coordination, provider consultations, and chart review. Your Business. Supported. Ready to explore business ownership? Complete our membership inquiry form to learn how IVNN can support your journey.

Can Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) join IV Nurse Network and start a mobile IV hydration business?

Yes! Florida Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with qualifying IV therapy training and current hands-on IV therapy experience are welcome to apply for membership with IV Nurse Network (IVNN). LPN applicants must hold an active Florida nursing license, meet applicable Florida Board of Nursing IV therapy education requirements, and demonstrate competency in IV administration. LPNs must also have appropriate Registered Nurse (RN) oversight and supervision in accordance with Florida nursing regulations. Each LPN partner is responsible for establishing an approved RN oversight arrangement before providing IV hydration services. IVNN provides access to established clinical protocols, medical oversight coordination, provider consultations, and chart review to support independently operated mobile IV hydration businesses. All services must remain within the LPN's authorized scope of practice and applicable supervision requirements. IVNN membership does not replace required RN oversight or independently authorize an LPN to practice outside their scope.

Who owns the clients when I join IV Nurse Network?

You do! As an independent RN or LPN business owner, you operate your mobile IV hydration business under your own brand, build your own clientele, and maintain your customer relationships. IV Nurse Network (IVNN) provides clinical support services, including medical oversight coordination, provider consultations, established IV therapy protocols, and chart review. We do not take ownership of your business, brand, or customer relationships. Your Business. Your Brand. Your Clients. Supported by IVNN.

How do I order IV hydration supplies and medications?

IV Nurse Network (IVNN) helps coordinate medication and supply ordering through approved pharmacy partners. You may also use a pharmacy of your choice, provided it meets IVNN's compliance and credentialing requirements and all applicable regulations. Our team will guide you through the ordering process during onboarding.

Do RNs and LPNs need malpractice insurance to start a mobile IV hydration business?

Yes. All Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) participating in IV Nurse Network (IVNN) must maintain their own professional malpractice insurance and appropriate business liability coverage. As independent business owners, nurse partners are responsible for ensuring their insurance covers the services they perform. IVNN provides access to clinical support services, including medical oversight coordination, established IV therapy protocols, provider consultations, and chart review. Coverage requirements and permitted nursing activities vary by state, license type, and scope of practice. Participation in IVNN does not expand an RN's or LPN's legal scope of practice.

Can I start a mobile IV hydration business without joining a franchise?

Yes! You can start your own independent mobile IV hydration business in Florida without purchasing a traditional franchise, provided you meet applicable business licensing, medical oversight, and healthcare regulatory requirements. With IV Nurse Network (IVNN), you operate under your own business name, develop your own brand, set your own pricing, and build your own client relationships. IVNN provides access to clinical support services, including established IV therapy protocols, medical oversight coordination, provider consultations, and chart review, without requiring you to operate under the IVNN brand. Your Business. Supported. Ready to explore independent ownership? Complete our membership inquiry form to learn how IVNN can support your mobile IV hydration business.
